Position:
As the Dining Room Manager, you will play a key role in the Clubhouse Front of the House Operations. This is a full-time on-site role for a Dining Room Manager located in Haida Gwaii on Langara Island, BC. The Dining Room Manager will oversee daily dining operations, manage staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality. Responsibilities include training, scheduling, and maintaining a positive dining experience for guests.
Qualifications Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Customer Service and Food & Beverage skills
- Experience in Food Service and Training
- Experience in making Premium Cocktails
- Knowledge of Wines
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Food Safety Certification is a plus
- Serving IT Right Certification
- Previous Experience working in a remote setting
- Previous work with POS system
Additional Details:
- This is a seasonal position based on Haida Gwaii, British Columbia.
- Contracts run from April to mid-September, totaling approximately 3.5 months.
- Room and board are provided, as well as flights to and from Vancouver.
