Position:
Join our culinary team as a Sous Chef, where your passion for food and leadership will shine. You'll work alongside our Executive Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Executive Chef in executing menus with a focus on quality and creativity.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
- Food Safe level 1 required.
- Serving It Right certification is an asset.
- Preference will be given to those with previous resort or fine dining experience.
Additional Details:
- This is a seasonal position based on Haida Gwaii, British Columbia.
- Contracts run from May to mid-September, totaling approximately 4.5 months.
- Room and board are provided, as well as flights to and from Vancouver.
