Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Richmond office team. This role involves ensuring smooth guest travel experiences, managing administrative duties, and providing front-office support. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This is a seasonal position based at our Head Office, in Richmond, British Columbia. Employment contracts begin in mid-May and will run through to mid-September.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Periodically travel with guests northbound and southbound to Haida Gwaii. Could be as frequent as twice a week to assist with travel logistics and to provide on-site guest support. (Round trip travel within the day)
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation for flights and other logistical arrangements.
- Coordinate freight logistics, including procurement, ordering, and receiving of supplies.
- Prepare and organize various documentation related to guest arrivals and departures. This will include things such as manifests, luggage labels, and fishing licenses.
- Providing front-office support, which includes managing orders for necessary supplies.
- Maintain a high level of organization, professionalism, and friendliness in all interactions.
Qualifications and Assets:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Comfortable with air travel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic work environments.
